Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Laura of La Mesa, CA, who passed away March 1, 2020. Mike had many friends and touched the hearts and lives of everyone he met. The kids all adored their uncle and he enjoyed them immensely. and wife Joan of Temecula, CA his sister Amy Gilpin and husband Bradley, and their children, Brayden, Madelyn and Brooklyn of Discovery Bay, CA. Mike is survived by his spouse Erika his father Mike Sr. He and Erika loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and hiking throughout the deserts of So. Mike loved traveling and most recently spent some time on the Malaysian Peninsula. Mike was employed by Delta Design, a division of Cohu, Inc. Mike married Erika Larson on July 13, 2014. Parra, Sr and Laura (Orazi) Parra. Mike graduated from Helix High School in La Mesa, CA in 1981 and attended San Diego State University. Mike was born on September 8, 1963, in Ocean Beach, a community of San Diego, CA to Jose M. It is with deep regret and great sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved Jose Miguel (Mike) Parra of La Mesa, California, on April 3, 2020, after a long struggle with cancer.
